Each one of us has a sanctuary — a place we return to when we want to feel like ourselves again. For some, it’s the kitchen, the garden, or the running track. For others, it’s a pen, a notebook, and a good desk. That is where I belong. I write when it rains, I write when it shines, and when the air cools, I turn to my sewing machine, weaving my thoughts with the soft hum of its needle.
Creativity has always been my way of listening to the world. It’s where I process, reflect, and make sense of the stories we carry - the spoken ones and the silent ones. Every piece I create - whether it is a poem, a novella, or stitched work, it all carries the same intention - to offer a moment of stillness and a breath of gentleness. It is a place to pause, to feel and to begin.
As a qualified Counsellor, I understand how deeply healing it can be to step into a sanctuary, and as I invite you to enter my world whether to read a poem, a novella or explore my handmade crafts, I hope you will find something that leads you to your own sanctuary.
From here, you can journey onwards to my other pages with openness and curiosity. If you would like to connect with me directly, my details are on the contact page. I cherish the exchange of thoughts and ideas - they help shape and grow this sanctuary.
