The Heart Has No Colour

This story was born from a deep reflection of the courage it takes to face the past. It is a tribute to the people who silently shape us, the wounds that change us, and the unexpected ways love continues long after a life has ended.

Authoring this book allowed me to explore the fragile threads that connect families – by blood, by choice, and sometimes by the beating of a single heart. It reminded me that healing is rarely linear, forgiveness is rarely simple, and grief is never something we “get over.” Instead, we learn to carry it with grace.

This book is also a celebration of second chances: the second chance a donor gives a stranger, the second chance we give ourselves, and the second chance we offer others when we choose compassion over judgement.

If you have ever lost someone, if you have ever struggled to forgive, if you have ever wondered whether love can outlive a heartbeat – I hope these pages remind you that it can. Some hearts do more than keep us alive. They lead us home.
